NLCC’s philosophy of human nature is basically optimistic. We see the human spirit as created by God, and is adaptable, enduring, and capable of creative growth. This is the foundation of why we do what we do. If a client requests to incorporate Christian spirituality into counseling, our therapists are well trained to do so.  However, we are incredibly respectful of our clients’ faith beliefs, including those who profess faith and those who do not.  Whomever we are serving, we will offer academically trained and clinically robust counseling.
